I Remembered All of These at Once After Leaving the Music Zone Building
Here is some figurative language I've read and heard the last 24 hours.
- In her book, On Photography, Sontag says that "the modern camera is trying to be a ray gun."
- One of my friend's friends said that watching the rats run past a basement window at last night's NYE party is "like staring into a Chicago-thremed aquarium."
- One groundskeeper for a rehearsal space off of 16th and Western says "this place is like the fuckin Deathstar. People are running around like you wouldn't believe, 24 hours a day."
